After 7 years sitting out in the elements, it finally has some protection. It’s no enclosed garage, but it’s better than nothing.

Awesome! I’m jealous. My 3 car garage would be really tight if I tried to cram three vehicles, as well as toys, sporting goods, and a work space. I wish I could add something like this for the truck.

I soooo need a carport. I have no garage and the cost to build one (given all the other home projects on the docket,) is too high. I think I could build a carport for decent dough though.
Did you build that yourself? Looks sturdy.

I have enough room there to build a detached 2 car garage, that was the original dream. However, it would be at least a decade before I could afford it. I did not build it myself, but you could build one just like it for $1500 in materials.

Where did you get the plans for it? I’d love to add a 2 car port at the end of my driveway....or even a drive through carport over my driveway.

Very nice. I don’t have the room for a standalone as the house is already close to the property line. I’m thinking a lean-to with one side attached to the house might work. Gotta call my contractor...
